Ingredients:
- 2 oz Balcones Texas Single Malt Whiskey
- 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz simple syrup (or honey syrup for a sweeter touch)
- 8-10 fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
- Crushed ice
- Lemon wheel for garnish
Instructions:
- In a shaker, add the fresh mint leaves and simple syrup (or honey syrup).
- Muddle the mint leaves gently to release their aroma and flavor.
- Add the whiskey and fresh lemon juice to the shaker.
